Our Goal In the Long Run
Since 2009, our mission is to foster literacy and learning as a lifelong process.
We equip young people with the necessary skills to become clear and effective communicators, self-directed and lifelong learners, creative and practical problem solvers, responsible and involved citizens, and interactive and informed thinkers.
How We Do It
We team with writers, storytellers, and leaders to create workshops, campaigns, literary outlets that raise awareness, elevate skills, and inspire sustainable action.
Our leadership and team of experts engage leaders in the education sector, entrepreneurs and educators from all works of life, in conversations that seek to improve literacy in Rwanda and beyond.
While our primary focus is on young adults between the ages of 15 and 30, we work with secondary school and college students, as well as fresh graduates, to help them read and write with proficiency. We also support aspiring authors through mentorship and advocacy. Every term, we work with select schools across the country to create literacy programmes that offer tools for teachers, student and school leaders to nurture talents and unleash potentials.
Quick Stats Of Our Progress
Since 2009, we've been involved in several activities that fall in line with our mission – working with the public and private sectors, and civil society to shape the future of education.
